If not for the past financial support of over 120 individuals and foundations, we would not have been able to create such an amazing award winning documentary film.

With the funds that we have raised to date, we have been able to continue covering this issue and updating the film accordingly. 

However, in order to prepare Pursuit of Equality for a national DVD release and a limited theatrical release, we are now seeking your support so that wider audiences can see this film.

With California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoing a same-sex marriage bill October 12, 2007, the second time in three years that such a measure died on the governor's desk, and the California Supreme Court currently preparing to rule on this issue as early as December 2007, now more than ever, is the perfect time for Pursuit of Equality to be seen by all.

Government leaders at the national and local level, as well as leaders of the GLBT community, agree that these screenings are vital, for they have the potential to make a crucial impact in achieving timely public awareness on what may likely be this country’s next great civil rights debate.
