This February 2024 marked the 20-year anniversary of when, in 2004, former San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom sparked a ground-breaking civil rights movement by issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples. PURSUIT OF EQUALITY is our award-winning documentary film that provides a telling ‘fly-on-the wall’ view as this historic event unfolds. We are currently raising funds to update this film with plans to finally release Pursuit of Equality in the Fall of 2024!

In today’s culture, with “politics in reverse” and the regression of many of our rights, we must once again put a face on the issue of Marriage Equality. As California Governor Gavin Newsom recently said, “Now, more than ever, is the time to share this film.” Now more than ever is the time to share Pursuit of Equality.
