On behalf of the Pursuit of Equality family, we extend our sincere gratitude for your participation on Thursday, February 1st when we all joined together to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of when Gavin Newsom and the City of San Francisco re-ignited the marriage equality movement by issuing same-sex marriage licenses and for commemorating our film "Pursuit of Equality."
Our heartfelt appreciation extends to Governor Gavin Newsom, who catalyzed the initiation of the civil rights movement by authorizing the issuance of the inaugural same-sex marriage licenses. Recognition is also due to individuals such as Mabel Teng, Dennis Herrera, Nancy Alfaro, Kate Kendell, Jeanne Rizzo & Pali Cooper, and the numerous other courageous people who worked tirelessly throughout this emotion journey.
The occasion was truly memorable, resonating with sentiments of love and hope. The atmosphere was vibrant, and your presence held significant meaning for all in attendance. Reconnecting with old acquaintances and establishing new connections evoked a sense of continuity, reminiscent of the day we initially congregated at the Castro Theatre two decades ago!
We express our gratitude for your steadfast support of this film. We encourage you to connect with us on Instagram by following our account,

Furthermore, we invite you to share your personal narratives of love by posting stories and photos, tagging them with #pursuitofequality. As we plan to extend the reach of this film to cities across the United States, your support is instrumental for our success.
Once again, thank you for contributing to the success of the 20th-anniversary celebration of "Pursuit of Equality," and we eagerly anticipate your continued involvement in our future endeavors.
Thank you!
Geoff & Mike
